Valérie Jurčíková
Description:
Valérie Jurčíková is a fashion designer studying in the Studio of Clothing and Footwear Design at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, under the guidance of prof. Liběna Rochová. She approaches her work in a conceptual way, where she perceives clothing more as a scraping surrounding the human body. Jurčíková approaches her work very intuitively, often working with textile experiments or other unusual materials that provide her with a wide range of possibilities and freedom. She is often inspired by life situations, circumstances or environments in which she finds herself at a given moment. Her collections consist of clothing objects, which are then transformed into wearable pieces.
