Founder of the eponymous Prague made-to-measure fashion house, Miro Sabo holds a degree in fashion design from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he is currently the head of the Fashion Design Studio. Following successive internships in Paris and Antwerp, Miro’s debut collection earned him a nomination for Czech Grand Design’s “Fashion Designer of the Year” in 2012, an award he later won in 2016 for his SS 2017 collection, which he also presented at Tbilisi Fashion Week as part of the Mercedes-Benz International Designer Exchange Program. His work is often inspired by history, such as the Renaissance and Baroque periods, which he reinterprets and blends with contemporary artistic and design influences. Miro’s collections reflect and prioritize traditional tailoring principles, yet are mindful of the modern silhouette. In addition to made-to-measure collections and one-of-a-kind, custom pieces, the brand also produces smaller ready-to-wear series.
