Description:

Hana Valtová is a Czech fashion designer and a graduate of the Fashion and Footwear Design Studio at the Vysoká škola uměleckoprůmyslová v Praze (UMPRUM).
Her work primarily focuses on applying historical garment research to contemporary clothing. She mainly designs womenswear characterized by distinctive silhouettes that enhance femininity combined with elegance. Her philosophy is rooted in preserving traditional craftsmanship and using high-quality materials.
In her work, she has explored, for example, Renaissance clothing and the phenomenon of dandyism. She emphasizes that her garments should carry a touch of the past while remaining wearable in the present day.
