ALEXANDER BEL is a Prague-based fashion brand founded in 2021 by Alexander Bel, born from a personal need to create a dialogue between the designer’s introspective inner world and the surrounding reality. His work exists at the intersection of fluid menswear and a dark romantic aesthetic influenced by Victorian Gothicism.
The brand’s visual language is poetic in nature. It combines romantic silhouettes with material deconstruction, with each piece functioning as a carrier of emotion and fragments of both past and present. A key element of the brand is upcycling and a conscious approach to working with dead-stock materials.
The process of developing each new collection is slow, intuitive, and almost ritualistic, transforming the story of the fabric into the final garment. Alexander Bel perceives clothing as an extension of the psychological body a sensitive layer that carries emotions, vulnerability, and personal history.
